On the afternoon of November 8th, the first AUFE International Education Exhibition was held in the East Longhu Campus. Dr. Yu Baotao, Chairman of the University Council, and Dr. Zhu Hongjun, the school’s President, attended the exhibition and welcomed the representatives from each foreign university and cooperative organization. They also had in-depth exchanges on how to further expand international cooperation and exchanges, promote students' visits and exchanges abroad, and enhance the internationalization level of our university.
The exhibition was sponsored by AUFE International Exchange Center, Student Affairs Office and Youth League Committee and a total of 38 renowned universities were invited from 11 countries, covering the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Australia, Ireland, the Netherlands and Norway. At the exhibition, representatives from these universities and colleges enthusiastically answered students' questions, interpreted enrollment policies, and shared experiences on the application for studying abroad, so that students have a clearer understanding of overseas study as well as establishing a new direction for their future life and career.
The successful organization of the first International Education Exhibition is also an important move of AUFE to carry out its development strategy of “going out, building platforms and leveling up”. With the guidance of this strategy, the International Exchange Center will continue to provide more international opportunities and resources for teachers and students, help them to broaden their career development channels, and cultivate them into high-quality innovative and internationalized talents with ideals, national sentiments and practical abilities.
