In order to enrich the experience of international students for excellent traditional Chinese culture, the International Exchange Center of AUFE led some representatives of international students participated in the Exchange Activity of Flower Drum Lanterns at the Longzihu District Cultural Center in Bengbu City recently.
Teacher Liu Heju, the inheritor of the Flower Drum Lanterns at the city level, introduced the origin and development history of the Flower Drum Lanterns. On site, she taught the gripping method of the Flower Drum Lanterns fan and handkerchief, the steps, and some basic postures. Students from cultural center performed the classic songs of the Flower Drum Lanterns for international students, which won warm applause from the audience on site.
